Many in history thought the "Final Battle" will be staged here because, many epic battles were fought here and the word Armegedon means Mountain of Megiddo.It's in the valley of Jezreel. See Jos. 17:11; I Chron. 7:29, Jud. 5:19-20, I Kg 4:12; 9:15, II Kg23:29-30; II Chron. 35:20-24.
