David: "Yesterday you promised to shorten wait times for abortion which means more money for abortion. If abortion is a "choice" then it is elective surgery. How can you justify that while cancer patients wait 8 months for necessary treatment?"
Dalton: "I believe a woman has a right to choose."
An hour later at the Ottawa hospital, a patient made front page news when he refused to shake Dalton's hand. He said "I have cancer and you're not helping any."
