Here’s a letter I sent to our Governour General after she gave the “Order of Canada” to the man who made millions putting his hands inside women and tearing their souls out….
Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean,
I am a Canadian touring India currently. I am trying to convince young couples not to abort their baby girls. By the end of my tour I will have shared with over 7,000 people.
I am writing to respond to your recent appointment of Henry Morgentaler for the “Order of Canada”. Its one thing to say someone is OK with “choice”, but it’s another thing to glorify death and to raise abortion to a medal award winning procedure, which what this award does. He has done nothing else. The Hippocratic Oath even stands against abortion. Even the most liberal people would say it’s something to be avoided. The fallout of this award will mean the number of abortions in our country will sky rocket and selective abortions of girls such as what is happening here in India is completely sanctioned. Yet legally in Canada abortion is not even a human right. The Supreme Court has not even ruled it as such and I trust you understand that. The absence of a law is not the same as the presence of a “right.
I was involved in an abortion in the 80’s and it devastated both me and my girlfriend at the time. She was a medical doctor, but nothing could have prepared her for what she experience on the table in that abortion room. Abortion did nothing to serve us. Mr. Morgentaler has perpetuated a lie that abortion helps women, when abortion is a large contributor to the victimization and abuse of women. It is a violation of their innermost being. Women deserve better than abortion. It is remarkable to me that a man who was affected by a holocaust that killed millions would be personally responsible for the killing of hundreds of thousands of children with beating hearts, many of whom were old enough to suck their thumbs.
While I’m trying to spread the west’s “sophistication” and “humanitarianism” to India, my own country has descended into barbarism.
